Wonderful Wednesday at Charlie Daniels Park

During spring break they had a fun day at the park and the kids and I met, Kristin, John, Mitchell and little Shelby there. It was kind of cold and rainy but, we timed it just right for them to play a while. Afterwards we went to McDonalds for lunch, it was a fun day!!

We love our passes to the zoo, on this Wednesday, Chelsea went with us. The weather was just right. Drew loves the jungle gym area as you can see. I love my Wednesdays.

AHS Alumni game 2010

On Monday, March 6th, we had our annual AHS Alumni game. Once again this year we had an awesome turn out of Alumni's for the game. All these boys are what I like to call the last of the old Antioch. We use to have a feeder park for baseball and very few of those boys are left, actually Dave's Senior year will probably be the last of the boys that actually played at Una. Since they closed Una and opened the new Cane Ridge High, in my opinion Antioch will never be the same where baseball is concerned. Makes me very sad, so I am very glad for that reason Dave will be a Senior next year. I am proud though to say, Tony and I and all three of our boys were a part of the good ole days!

Hard to believe I sat at this very park not too long ago and watched their daddy's play ball! Where does the time go?????

A reason to sew again!

Before Makyna was born, I made her this outfit. Believe it or not it was a newborn size pattern. She never got to wear it anywhere due to it being an off season when she could finally wear it. Here are the pictures I took of her before I had to pass it on to Little Shelby!! At least she got some wear out of it. Kristin took her and had her 6 month pictures made in it. Thanks Kristin, who would have thought it would have been such a large size. I have made her several outfits though that she has been able to wear. I actually love sewing again, it is so much fun to finally have a little girl.

She was a little chunk er here. She seems so little now since she has started walking.

Ms. Nancy's Sheep!!

Ok, I am back to trying to get caught up again!!

In March, our friend Ms. Nancy's sheep had babies, they live on a farm at the opposite end of our street and we are always lucky enough to be able to take the kids down and see the animals. Drew loved the babies and Makyna was not real sure about them. They were so cute!!
