Panama City Beach (2009)

Ok, I am a little slow at getting this post up, but has been alot going on lately so here goes!!

The first of August we took our family vacation and it was the best, the whole family was there and it was so great!! I am looking forward to next year already!!

Drew at Aunt Peggy's house in Bay Point, we went there and stayed until our room was ready!!

My Wednesday Babies!! Just can't tell you how much I love them!!

Yesterday was the start of my 4 day work week!! I am going to start keeping my babies on Wednesdays and I am so excited! Yesterday we took a trip to the Zoo to play in the jungle gym area. It is really nice and I really wish I had some pictures, but time I figured out how we would get into the Zoo with a single stroller, I forgot to grab the camera. (Next time!!!!) We have a season pass so I am planning on using it quite often. Drew really had a good time until the Monkeys started having some play time and started making their crazy noises. He was so cute he came running to me and said, "What was that?". I told him it was the either the big birds we saw as we were coming in or the monkeys. He than said, "Make them stop", well as you would guess that was the end of playing there for the day. I really don't blame him cause they really were loud. The lady told us it was the Monkeys and they will do that around the same time every day and several times a day. So then we went off to find the monkeys so he could see that they would not hurt him. He really liked watching them. As for Ms. Makyna she slept through the whole trip till we got to McDonald's and then she was ready for some lunch. The rest of the day was pretty good and I even managed to cook a descent dinner. Fried Chicken strips (I never fry anymore, but it was oh so good) peas, carrots and augratin potato's. Oh while I was cooking Tony and Drew had some porch time. I filled Drew's pool up and Tony tried to sit out there with him. Soon Tony disappeared to then reappear with his swimming trunks on. Drew was getting him all wet. It was so funny, every time Tony would not do something as fast as Drew thought he should, he would cry out, then you would hear them having a discussion about it. I think he did not get his nap out. I am sure he is just tired from this busy week he has had. I know it has taken Dave all week to get use to going, going, going everyday. One more thing, I gave both of them baths before Darryl and Tiff left in the kitchen sink. Now can you imagine Drew in the kitchen sink, he barely fits, but as long as I can squeeze him in there that's what we will do. He thinks he is still as little as Ms. Makyna I guess. Now I want to praise Dave a little, he is so good with Makyna. He is my towel man when I am giving them both baths at the same time. She just loves him and he has a way with her and actually most of the time can calm her down!! By the way I really think she is starting to do a lot better, still a little fussy at times and spits up, but I think and pray the medicine is doing what it is suppose to do. Well, that is all for now. Hopefully in the next little bit I will get our Florida pictures posted. We had a really great time and it was so great having my whole family together and I am already looking forward to next year!

4th of July

On the 4th we went and used Buddy and Becky's house for a get together!
Thank you Buddy and Becky for sharing your home, even though you were off camping, that was very kind of you!! We had a good time!!

June - Our little boy is getting too big!

We attended Harry's and Paloma's little boy, Tristen's first birthday several weeks ago and these pictures were just too cute not to post. This is Brooklyn, Dallas and Stephany's little girl!

If you notice the jumper behind them, there is a story to it.

Drew was having so much fun in it and then the circuit blew and it started deflating with him inside. This was one that was totally enclosed so you can imagine the fear he had as it started coming down on top of him, needless to say, the fear his GiGi had not being able to get to him quick enough. As I started trying to go up the slide part to get to him it just kept going down, all of a sudden I felt this big guy reach in and pull Drew out and pulled me up. Thanks Dallas for coming to the rescue. I knew Drew was alright cause I could see the top of his head so I knew he was not being pancaked in this thing, but after all was said and done he is now done with these jumpers, he would not even get on the one at Mitchell's birthday in July. Hopefully he will get over his fear eventually!! haha!!
