They are off to bring Makyna into the world!!

Well our sweet baby's birthday has arrived. Tiff and Darryl dropped Drew off at my house this morning at around 7:00. Pour Tiff, she was so upset over leaving her little boy but, he gave her a big kiss and off they went. Darryl called after they got there and told us that Baptist has changed procedure when you have a c-section. When Drew was born Darryl brought him straight to the nursery and we got to see him immediately. Now they keep him and the baby in the room with Tiff until they can go to their room. Even though this means we will all have to wait on seeing our sweet little girl, I think it is great that the baby gets to stay in with mom and dad for some bonding time. After all Tiff is the one that has carried her for all these months. So I am told it will be around 1:00 or so before anyone will be able to see her and that will be in Tiff's room. Last time Tiff got sick after she delivered, I just pray that none of that happens to her this time and it will be a pleasant time for her. (If being cut open can be pleasant! yuk!!) Anyway I will post pictures as soon as I can of this precious gift from God!!

Outfit I made for Makyna, it was really fun. Has been years since I have made something anyone could wear!! Can't wait to see it on her!!

Dave's Accident!

Last night Dave played ball at Ezell. He was suppose to play in a double header but had a little mishap in the first game. He has just turned this beautiful double play and was down fixing to try for another one when the ball took an awful hop and hit him in his mouth.

As you can see it broke his top tooth off and pushed his 2 bottom teeth backward. Busted his lip, blood was everywhere but, thankfully no stitches!!

We went to his dentist this morning and his top tooth will have a root canal on the 16th of June. Then will be capped and sometime around age 20 will have a crown put on after he is through growing. The bottom 2, after x-rays show no damage to bone or nerve, Thank The Lord! Said that the force of his tongue will push the teeth back forward in time. Might in his 20's have problems with them and will deal with it at that point. This could have been worse. I told Tiff this morning if Drew plays baseball, we will need to make him wear a mouth piece at an early age. I feel if Dave had been wearing one at least his teeth would have not gotten broken.

Franklin Rodeo!!

On Saturday, May 16th, Tony and I took Drew to the Franklin Rodeo!! He loved it!

I just cannot even begin to tell you how much we love this little boy!!

This guy is really cool. He is a retired rodeo rider and now has a foundation that helps abused children get out of bad situations. He even had a little girl there he had saved and if I am not mistaken he has kept her. She could ride the mess out of a miniature pony!! He rides this bull like you would ride a horse, saddle and all. Was really neat!!

District Games 2009

We did pretty good in the District this year! Came in 2nd place!!

Really proud of Dave, he had a good year and made All District!!

Makyna update!!

Tiff went to the doctor this morning. They have changed her birth date to Thursday, June 4th!! A week from Thursday our sweet little girl will be here! Can't wait!! Keep Tiff and Makyna in your prayers for a safe delivery for them both!

Derek's Birthday Dinner!! Little behind on posting!

Derek had a nice Birthday dinner!

I cooked BBQ chicken wings, we had fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and instead of a cake (due to Derek not wanting one) we had homemade fresh strawberry pie, made by Grandmama! He had a nice time!
