Daves Buck 2009

On Halloween, Derek took Dave down to the Turner Farm for his last Juvenile Hunt. This is his buck he got. They were both so excited. Derek is such a good brother to go and sit with Dave like that!! Thank you Derek!!

Halloween 2009, Makyna's first!!

Well I have finally gotten to Halloween and here it is in January, haha, slowly I am getting caught up. Drew's Indian outfit I made for Derek when he was little. I made one a little bigger for Darryl too and they wore them one year. Brought back a lot of sweet memories!! I was so proud Tiffany wanted him to wear it.

We spent Halloween at Marty's again this year. She made chili for everyone and we all went trick-or-treating in her neighborhood. It was a fun night. Kristin, John, Mitchell, Shelby, my family, Mary, Chuck, Ryan, Seth, Jess (with Little Tucker in the oven), Brett, Natalie, Kaylee,
Erica, Emily, Jessica, William and Marty's bunch were there!

No, Derek and Dave did not dress for Halloween! Derek is such a good big brother he had taken Dave hunting and they came by to show us all the deer he shot. That will be another post, haha!!

Later on in the evening, Craig, Jamie, Nolen and Trevor surprised us all by stopping by. They had been trick-or-treating at Jamie's brothers house in Nolensville. We were all so glad to see them!!

Our New Addition To Our Family! Oct 2009

I would like to introduce you to FRECKLES!!

Tony got him for the kids!!

Tony decided since Whiskey was getting older and was so tall for Drew and Makyna he would donate him to Paradise Ranch. It is a therapeutic ranch for kids. He knew he would be loved and taken good care of there. Before they took him they had to test him. Tony said they took this lift and he had to stand still beside it while they lifted it up and he passed with flying colors, said he did not even flinch. I am really glad, I was a little sad but, he has a great home there now and the children will love him.

Dave helps Tony work him, at least he did until we had this bit of bad weather. I am sure they will start back up as soon as it gets warm. Derek was helping too, but it will be summer I guess before he can help again, since he is not at home right now.

2009 Annual Family Camping Trip!!

The weekend before Halloween we went on our Defeated Creek camping trip. We all really had a great time. Tiff, Darryl and the kids got to stay the whole weekend this year. It was really nice having my whole family all weekend together. We missed having Jessica, Craig, Jamie and the kids and little Shelby this year. Maybe next year everyone will be able to come.

I love camping in the fall!!
