Makyna update!!

Tiff went to the doctor this morning. They have changed her birth date to Thursday, June 4th!! A week from Thursday our sweet little girl will be here! Can't wait!! Keep Tiff and Makyna in your prayers for a safe delivery for them both!

Derek's Birthday Dinner!! Little behind on posting!

I cooked BBQ chicken wings, we had fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and instead of a cake (due to Derek not wanting one) we had homemade fresh strawberry pie, made by Grandmama! He had a nice time!

Happy Birthday to my Baby!!

25 years ago today was one of the happiest and best days of my life. My Derek came into the world weighing 7lb 7oz at 10:39am. What a joy he is and has been his whole life. I can't believe my sweet little boy who at age 3, would run around at the ball park with shorts, cowboy boots, gun, holster and a cowboy hat on has already grown into this fine young man. What I would give to have some of that sweet time back again. Would not do anything any different, just loved the time I was blessed with when my boys were little.

My Sweet Derek!!

I really wanted to make this post mostly about my Derek. I do not get to post alot about him, (1) cause he does not like you take his picture for no reason and (2) he is never at home when the camera is out. HaHa!!

Anyway, I love him so much!!

On April 3rd, one of his best buddy's got hitched. Chris & Krystal got married at her sisters house in Joelton. It was a very small but, beautiful wedding as you will see. It was so pleasant even though it misted rain a little. The way their house was made her feet never left the porch so rain did not matter.

This was really neat, since it was outside they did not have candles for obvious reasons, so instead of a unity candle they poured sand in this vase to become one and now it is a keepsake!

Tiff's Shower with family and friends!

On May 2nd, Marty and I had Tiff a breakfast shower. We had hash brown casserole, breakfast casserole, doughnuts, muffins, sausage balls, cinnabon cake, strawberry bundt cake, coffee and this delicious Sonic punch! We had a really good turnout and I thank you all for coming!! She got so many cute things!! We have such good friends and family, we are blessed!!
