I am giving the Lord all the Glory!!

I am doing this post with so much gratitude and thankfulness in my heart!

I know without a doubt that the Lord has his hands on my family and for that I am truly thankful!

Thankful, thankful, thankful!!

About 24 years ago, I can remember taking 2 little boys, in a little red truck down to the the fire academy to drop their daddy off for his training to be a firefighter. At that time a thought never crossed my mind that in the year 2010, I not only would have a husband on the fire department but, also that those 2 little boys in that truck that day would have a chance to be in the same line of work as their daddy.

In 2006, we were blessed by Darryl getting hired on the EMS side of the fire department. This is a job with great benefits and security for his family. He has been blessed and I am very proud of him!
In December of last year Derek decided to go back to school to get his student teaching done to get certified to teach. In May he finally became a certified teacher. Now, you would think this post would have been about me talking about him starting a new teaching job in August but, as I said before, the Lord is in control and he had other plans for him. About 3 weeks after completing his school, he received a letter from the fire department telling him he had been chosen to be a candidate for the upcoming fire academy class and upon passing all requirements he would be starting in August if he received his letter. Well today he received that letter and it is official! Looks like there will be 3 Glovers working for the Nashville Fire Department and for that I do give THE LORD ALL THE GLORY!!
Oh pending that he passes and graduates in January!!
I have all the confidence in the world he can do it!
I LOVE ALL THE GLOVER BOYS!!
