The night before Derek's first shift, he was in the living room getting all his gear together for work the next day and Drew decided he needed to try it all on. So Cute!! I have a picture of Darryl somewhere with Tony's fire helmet and coat on I need to scann and compare them!!

I am so proud of Derek!

After completing 22 weeks of getting up every day and leaving the house at 5:15 and not getting back in some days till 5:30 or later, he is now officially an IV certified EMT!

On Friday, he graduated from the NFD Academy! He is #3 to be on the Fire Department!

I have watched him grow over the past 22 weeks into a strong, confident, happy young man!!

I knew the Lord had his hands on him and had something special for him in his life and for all this I give the Lord the Glory!
