Baby Girls 1st Baseball Game!

On Saturday, the 20th of June, Ms. Makyna attended her first baseball game at 2 weeks and 2 days old!! She was really good and isn't she just beautiful!! Boy do these grand kids steal your heart!!

On Friday I went over and kept both of them so Tiff and Darryl could go out to eat and Drew came home and spent the night with me. Saturday morning we went to Sam's Wholesale and he had to wear this batting helmet and take his bat. He was so cute!!

Monday Lissa came over and took pictures of little Makyna. They were not able to get an appointment in the hospital to have them made and I think Lissa does a much better job anyway!! Lissa these are great! I can't wait to see the rest of them!!

On Tuesday Tiff went back to the doctor to have her staples removed. On their way home I got a surprise when they stopped by my work. Here are a few pictures of their visit!!

My baby update!!

Well, on Saturday mid afternoon, Darryl, Tiff and Drew brought sweet little Makyna home.

Dave, Chelsea, Drew and I got to the hospital around 12:00. By the time we arrived they had already released Tiff on paper only. As it is with most hospitals you are always waiting on a doctor. They were waiting on the pediatrician to arrive to release Makyna. She finally arrived and took baby girl back to the nursery to check her over before she signed her papers. She came back to the room and talked to Darryl and Tiff. She said Makyna was a little jaundice and that they would need to bring her in the office on Tuesday. Below are pictures of them as they got ready and left the hospital.

Time to help daddy mow the yard!! Today they took Makyna back to the doctor and her bilirubin count was at (14) if I understood Darryl right, (18) would have sent them back to the hospital with her to be put under the lights like Drew was. Thank the Lord it was under that count. Told them to just keep doing what they were doing and it would all flush out of her system.

My Babies!

We finally got to see our little Makyna at around 1:00. She is adorable! Drew and I got to the hospital a little before one and they had just brought her in the nursery. He was not real sure about her, but once he saw his Daddy he was ready to go. He was so cute or maybe pitiful is the word in a way. He would crawl up in the bed with Tiff, then he would rub on her face or kiss her and kept saying I wuv (love, that is the way it sounds from him) you mommy, then he would look around and tell her again. For months now we have talked about Makyna and now that little name is a realty for him. He will adjust though. I love this little boy so much, now I finally have a little girl to love as much as I do all my boys. It really kind of seems like a dream right now. But I have already gotten to change 2 dirty diapers. I love the time I get to spend with my family. If I could, I would build a huge house so we all could live together. haha!!
